GIBSON, Denzil - In loving memory of Denzil Gibson, 79 years Wednesday, October 31st, 2012 at Health Sciences North, Sudbury. Beloved husband of Catherine Gibson (nee Kennedy) of Sudbury. Loving father of Janette (Jim Haavisto) of Sudbury, Floyd (Sue) of Timmins, Wayne (Wanda) of Lively, Kevin (Ruth) of Hanmer, Linda (Dan Henry predeceased) of Lively and Joan (Dan Monahan) of Hanmer. Cherished grandfather of Michael, Christina, Matthew, Courtnay, Allyceea, Melissa, Rebecca, Erica and Joshua (predeceased). Predeceased by his parents William and Elsie Gibson and brothers Basil, Eric and Lyall. Originally from the Ottawa Valley, Denzil always loved the country and spending time with his family was very important to him. He was a faithful member of St. Mark's United Church and enjoyed playing music and a good card game. The light of his life will be cherished by all who knew and loved him. Resting at LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME 252 Regent St., at Hazel St., Sudbury Friday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 PM. Funeral service in the chapel on Saturday, November 3, 2012 at 11:30 AM. Interment at Cobden Union Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
