GIRARD, Fabiola (née Ethier) - It is with great sorrow that we announce her passing on Sunday July 22nd, 2012 at the age of 90 years. Wife of the late Armand Girard . Predeceased by her parents Fabien and Rose Delima (née Génier) Ethier. Loving mother of Edna Poirier (Marcel Poulin) of Chelmsford, Rose-Anne Girard (Richard Ouimette) of Cambridge, Noëlla Frappier (Claude) of Latulippe, Qc, Anita Christie (Robert) of Naughton and Lila Pilon of Kitchener. Dear sister of Laurette Girard (late Hector) of North Bay, Denis Ethier (late Yolande) of Sturgeon Falls, Anne Marie St- Laurent (late Alfred) of Qc, Gilbert Ethier (Andrée) and Hélène Vaillancourt (Raymond) both of Windsor. Predeceased by her brothers Rosario (late Gisèle), Benoit (Irène) and Edouard (Thérèse). Lovingly remembered by her sister-in-law Sylvia Vallée (late Lionel) of Timmins and her brother-in-law Romuald Girard (Edith) of Kapuskasing. Cherished grandmother of 12 grandchildren (1 predeceased), 18 great- grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 4691 R.R. 15, Chelmsford, Friday, July 27th, 2012 after 10 a.m. Funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. in the Cooperative funeral Home Chapel, Chelmsford. Donations (by cheque only) to the V.O.N adult center, Sudbury or the Alzheimer Society would be greatly appreciated.
