GUY, Louise (Née Perron) - Peacefully passed away April 29, 2012 at the age of 99 years. Wife of the late Eucher Guy (1963) whom she loved dearly. Predeceased by her parents Cérile Perron and Eugénie (née Bourgeois) Perron. Loving mother of Rita Huber (Fred) of Montréal, Eddy of Hanmer, Armand (amie Diane Bernier), Phillipe (June) both of Sudbury and Huguette Dépatie of Val Caron. Predeceased by her son Richard Guy. She was like a second mother to Élise of Extendicare York. Also predeceased by her bothers and sisters Alice Vachon, Alma Menard, Victoire, Yvonne Labelle, Médéric, Maria Cousineau, Aurore, Annette, Joseph, Ida and Patrick. Louise will be lovingly remembered by her 18 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her grandchild Gary (Barbera), their children Lisa, Gaby and Jessica as well as Louise's great-great grandchildren Alexander and Lian. Her memories shall be cherished by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle Blvd. E. (at Notre-Dame), Sudbury, Wednesday, May 2, 2012 from 2-5 and 7-9:30. A funeral service will be held Thursday, May 3, 2012 at 10 a.m. in the funeral home Chapel, Sudbury. Donations (by cheque only) to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.

Louise Guy was my idol. My mom, my mom-in-law, my friend Michelle, and I had so many good times with her. We used to sit on her bed, talk about life, listen to her stories and laugh out loud together. Sometimes, people would come in to see what the party was all about. My mom-in-law, Laurianne Blais, her roommate for nearly 6 years will miss her dearly. Louise was an amazing friend, the perfect roommate, and a very funny girl. We will miss her so.
