HOLDER, Shirley (nee Helin) - In loving memory of Shirley Holder (nee Helin) Sunday, January 27th, 2013 at Health Sciences North surrounded by her family and the people she loved went home to be with Him who her soul loveth. She was a unique and amazing woman who made a lasting impression in the lives of those who loved her. Beloved wife of Andy Holder. Loving mother of Steven and Eric Hodge and Carrie Roy. Proud and loving Mummu to Carly Roy and Mumma to Stellan Hodge. Cherished sister-in-law to Allison Holder, Joey Holder (Donna) and Linda Riley. Predeceased by her parents Ahti Helin and Meimi Lahti. Sadly missed by her animals Katie, Vargas, Snooki and Lily. Lovingly remembered by relatives and friends as well as her extended family and friends in Cuba. During her life she was an avid 10 pin bowler and card player. She loved spending time with her family, travelling and feeding the neighbourhood animals. Funeral Service in the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME, 252 Regent Street, Sudbury Friday, February 1st, 2013 at 11:30 am. Interment in the Civic Memorial Cemetery. Donations to the Northern Cancer Foundation would be appreciated. (Friends may call from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Thursday and after 10 am Friday.) after i found out her loss I was saddnee
so saddened by the passing of Shirley, a vibrant exceptional person in so many ways......just happened to call and leave her a message and her daughter called me to tell me of their loss....I am deeply shocked and know in my heart she is in a better place even though her place here on earth was unique because she had such love and care from her family and she to them and my heart goes out to them......she will always be sadly missed
A woman that will always be in my heart and the heart of my family and friends!we have the greatest memories and that will last forever.May god be with her always!!
Dear Andy and family, we are so saddened! Our sincere condolences. We will always remember Shirley with fondness, she was so vibrant, so full of life, so warm, so much fun, always friendly, smiling and sharing joy to those around her. We have found memories of Shirley and Andy while vacationing Mexico and 10 pin bowling. She truly was an amazing lady and will be missed by all. Sincerely John and Alice
