KINGSLEY,Alphonse Joseph. It is with great sorrow that the family announces his passing at the Elizabeth Center on Saturday, July 21, 2012 at the age of 82 years. Son of the late Irené and the late Laure (née Point) Kingsley. Beloved husband of Jeannine Kingsley(née Bertrand) of Hanmer. Loving father to Suzanne Saunders (late Steve) of Petawawa, Diane Brousseau of Hanmer, Jackie Dupuis of Hanmer, Robert Kingsley (Mary-Pat) of Ottawa, Leonard Kingsley (Donna) of Sudbury and John Paul “J.P” Kingsley (Lee-Ann Barrand) of Arizona, USA. Dear brother of Laurent, Roger, Paul, Ernest, Lilianne Gauthier, Thérèse Ross and the late Simone. Cherished grandfather to Tony (Gosia), Chantal, Richard (Sam), Gates (Renée), Jason, Doug (Cheryl), Melissa (Guy), Thomas, John, Emily, Brice , Rose Mary, great-grandfather to Logan, Vivian, Samantha, Johnathan, Jacob, Noah, Sopie, Gage, Ella, Maxx, Shelby Anne, Lauren, Aiden, Karley-Lee, Seven and great-great-grandfather to Gaberiel and Micheal. Lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Alphonse served his country for 25 years in the Canadian Armed Forces. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus in the 4th degree, Council 5005,Hanmer of which he was the former Grand Knight. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 4570 St-Joseph st., HANMER, Friday, August 17th, 2012 after 11a.m. A Funeral Service will follow at 1p.m. in the Cooperative Funeral Home Chapel, Hanmer. Donations (by chèque only) to the Canadian Red Cross would be greatly appreciated.
