KOZAK, Nellie T. - In Loving Memory of Nellie T. Kozak (nee Tataryn), 89 years, Wednesday, January 25th 2012 at the Kemptville District Hospital. Beloved wife of John Kozak predeceased 1990. Loving mother of Evelyn predeceased 1997 and William “Bill“ Kozak (wife Deborah). Cherished grandmother of Aron (wife Ann Sofie), Sarah and Lauren and great grandchildren Oskar and Max. Dear daughter of Micheal and Mary (Kopach) Tataryn predeceased. Dear sister of Sophie Lucky and predeceased by Lena Shack, Katie McMahon, Annie Marcishyn and Steve Tataryn. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Nellie was a life-long resident of Sudbury. She and John were founding members of the Ukrainian Seniors Centre. Her quick wit and laughter will be sorely missed.Resting at the JACKSON & BARNARD FUNERAL HOME 233 Larch St., Sudbury. Funeral Mass in St. Mary's Ukrainian Catholic Church, 40 Notre Dame Ave., Sudbury, Monday, January 30th, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. Interment in the family plot at the Park Lawn Cemetery, Sudbury. Panakhyda at 7 p.m. Sunday. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or Ukraine Seniors Center would be appreciated. (Friends may call 2-4; 6-8 p.m. Sunday). You chose such a great picture..Nellie always had a smile for everyone. I have missed seeing her at the Garlic Festival. Evelyn was my sister's best friend and a fellow teacher. Nellie will be missed, she was such a lovely lady.
Mrs Kozak was always so cheerful and welcoming. During my teens her home was like a second home to me. Sorry to hear of her passing.
We will always remember Nellie's sense of humour and her good heart
