KRYS, Steven - On April 9, 2012, Steven William Krys died peacefully and unexpectedly in his sleep at the age of 36. Cherished son of Shirley and Michael Krys (Manitoulin Island), and nephew to Connie Petrunka (Kitchener), Bob Petrunka (North Carolina), Christine Durocher and husband, Michael (Windsor) and Nancy Milhiser (St. Catharines). Loved cousin of Travis and wife Courtney, Alexis and Tyler Milhiser and Jeff and Jackie Durocher. Steve achieved so much and touched so many people in the short time he was given. He was called to the bar as a lawyer in 2002 and practiced law in Toronto with passion and determination until his passing. He loved his family, his cottage, his music and making all who met him laugh and feel important. He will be sorely missed by all who loved him. Rest in peace, Steven. A private family ceremony was held in a central location in Windsor, Ontario on April 14, 2012. Donations, if desired, made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, would be appreciated by his family. to the Krys family, I just learned of Steven's passing and the news is shocking. I worked with Steven on several matters in Walkerton and his commitment and high skill level always impressed me.
