Obituary

 LACELLE, Gary - In loving memory of Gary Lacelle 70 years Peacefully, Tuesday, May 8th, 2012 at Health Sciences North with loving family at his side. Beloved husband of Sheila (O'Shell) Lacelle predeceased 2003. Loving father of Tim (Lise) and Lisa (Kevin MacDonald). Cherished grandfather of Shane, Sheldon and Chantal. Dear son of Eugene and Beulah (Behenna) Lacelle both predeceased. Dear brother of Robert (Mavis), Debbie (Ron Lefebvre) and Faye predeceased (Vernon Thompson). Sadly missed by nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Special friend to Evelyne Rocheleau. A longtime and well-respected Levack resident, Gary had worked for the Town of Onaping Falls, retiring as a road superintendent with over 30 years service. He had been a dedicated volunteer with the Sudbury Police Services, especially committed to the Lion's Eye in the Sky program. He enjoyed socializing with friends at the Legion. He was an avid golfer, accomplished bowler, gifted guitar player and in younger years a keen angler. He will be remembered for his great sense of humour and devotion to his loving family and many friends. The family expresses their appreciation to the Forest Ridge Golf Course friends for their support and many acts of kindness and genuine friendship to Gary over the years. At Gary's request there will be no funeral visitation or service. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. A celebration of his life will be held at the Onaping Falls Royal Canadian Legion. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Northern Cancer Foundation or the Lion's Eye in the Sky program would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME. To all Lacelle family. we are very sorry to see our friend leave us for a better place . He finish suffering. We was bowling friend, He was in my team (Noëlla) for over 4 years, we have so much fun with Him he always call me chiclet We always have fun with him.
