LACHAPELLE, Norman - (1944-2012) - The family announces with sorrow his sudden death in Hanmer, Saturday April 28, 2012, at the age of 67 years. Son of the late Arthur Lachapelle and the late Laurette (née Bibeau) Lachapelle. Loving husband and best friend of Claire (née Vaillancourt) Lachapelle of Sturgeon Falls. Dear father of Kimberley-Anne Palamar (Dean) of Hanmer. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Emiley and Nicolas. Also survived by his sister Alice Goudreault (Armand) of New Liskeard and by his brothers Edgar (Françoise) of New Liskeard and Réal (Georgette) of Ottawa as well as many nieces and nephews. Norman was a well known and respected insurance broker in the Sturgeon Falls area. He owned and operated Sturgeon Falls Insurance for many years. He was also an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and hunting. The family will receive friends at the THÉORET BOURGEOIS FUNERAL HOME, Sturgeon Falls, Wednesday May 2, 2012 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Thursday May 3, 2012 at 11:00 in Sacré Coeur Church, Sturgeon Falls.
