LAFLEUR, Henry Michel - In loving memory of Henry Michel Lafleur, 62 years, peacefully, Saturday afternoon, October 20th, 2012 at Health Sciences North, Sudbury. Loving husband of Doreen (nee Beskorowany) Lafleur predeceased November 23rd, 2011. Beloved father of Tina Lafleur of Sudbury and much loved grandfather of Jayde and Jenna. Predeceased by his parents Jean-Baptiste and Gervette (nee Leneville) Lafleur. Sadly missed by his brothers and sisters; Alfred “Teddy“, Joseph, Johnny, Rene, Rose, Rita, Lucienne, Aline, Noella, Lorenzo, Bert, as well as the Beskorowany family and many in-laws and several nieces and nephews; and predeceased by Monique, Louis, Gilbert, Paulette, Adjutor, Leo, Edna, Evelyne and Paul. Henry worked many years as a miner at Falconbridge Ltd. He loved the outdoors and his favorite pastimes were hunting and fishing and he was an avid antique collector always on the search for a yard sale. A member of St Kevin's Roman Catholic Church, Henry was also a proud member of the Knights of Columbus Council No. 5005. A devoted family man, he cherished his wife Doreen and loved his daughter Tina and was especially proud of Jayde and Jenna. Henry leaves a rich legacy of love, faith and devotion and will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Special thanks to the caring staff at the Health Sciences North, Sudbury. Memorial Funeral Mass celebrated at St. Kevin's Church, 4610 Ste Therese St. Val Therese Monday, October 29th, 2012 at 11am. (FRIENDS MAY GATHER AT THE CHURCH AT 10:30am. MONDAY). Donations in memory of Henry to the Kidney Foundation, the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Maison Vale Hospice would be appreciated.
