Beloved husband of 61 years to Elizabeth “Betty“ (Carson) Lamirande of Wahnapitae. Loving father of Allen (Bernadette) of Wahnapitae, Dawn Wilkinson (predeceased) Anthony and Ellen, Sally (Ron Mahy) of Val Caron, Eddy (Carmen) of Wahnapitae, Philip of Wahnapitae, Elizabeth “Beth“ Malloy (Brad) of Wahnapitae, Cherished grandfather of 13 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Dear son of Paul and Aldea (Lafontaine) Lamirande both predeceased. Dear brother of Albert of Sudbury, Louis (Claire) of Wahnapitae, Lida Gervais (Paul) of Coniston, Malvina Prevost of Trout Lake and Edward and Art predeceased. Not how did he die, but how did he live? Not what did he gain, but how did he give? These are the units to measure the worth of a man as a man regardless of birth. Not what was his church, but what was his creed? But had he befriended those really in need? Was he ever ready with a word of good cheer, to bring back a smile, to banish a tear?
