Obituary

 LEGAULT, Lawrence (Rex) - In loving memory of Lawrence “Rex” Legault, 87 years, who passed away peacefully Monday March 9th, 2010 at the Finlandia Nursing Home. Beloved husband of Eleanor (nee Marshall) Legault of Sudbury. Loving father of Marsha Crisp (husband Dennis) of Capreol and Gilbert (wife Rosanne) of Laguna Niguel Ca. Cherished grandpa of Ryan, Jodi and Jake. Dear brother of Gilbert (Bud) (late wife Lotti) of Calgary and Jean (husband Verino Tagliabracci) of Capreol. Predeceased by his parents Fred and Esther (nee Fraser) Legault and his sisters Myrla (late husband Harold Forbes) and Esther (late husband Donat Lepage). Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Formerly of Capreol, Rex had been a conductor for the CNR for 44 years retiring in 1987. He served in the Armed Forces from 1942-1946. Lawrence was a proud member of the Capreol's Royal Canadian Legion Branch 179. In his younger years he played catcher for the Capreol Mazzuca Softball Team. Rex was happiest when surrounded by his loving family. At his request, there will be no visitation or service. A graveside committal service will be held Friday March 12th, at 2:00 p.m., at the Capreol Cemetery. Family and friends are most welcome to attend. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. Donations to the Finlandia Village would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the JACKSON AND BARNARD FUNERAL HOME.
