LEONARD, Micheal Donald - 1951-2012 Surrounded by his family at the St Catherines General Hospital after a very brief battle with lymphoma Mike entered into rest on Saturday September 22,2012, in his 61st year. Predeceased by his loving parents Henry and Jeannette. Survived by his sisters Christine (Brian), Debbie (Pete) and Peggy (Jim). Loving father to Jaycee and Taylor, stepchildren Tammy, Tracey, Candy and Brenden. Devoted and loving grandfather to Miley and Chase and his many step grandchildren. Best friend-Irene Petitt. We sat beside your bedside Our hearts were crushed and sore We did our duty to the end 'Til we could do no more In tears we watched you sinking We watched you fade away And though our hearts were breaking We knew you could not stay You left behind some aching hearts That loved you most sincere We never shall and never will Forget you, Brother dear. You will be sadly missed by those who's lives you've touched. Love you always big brother. Christine, Debbie and Peggy At Mike's request, there will be no service, there will be a Celebration of Life/Benefit with all proceeds going to cancer research to be held November 3rd at 7.p.m. at Club Heidehof 600 Lake St., St. Catherines.
