LEWIS (BURNETT), Theresa Gertrude - Surrounded by family, Gertrude passed away peacefully late Saturday, September 29, 2012 at St Joseph's General Hospital in Elliot Lake. She was born August 29, 1925 and is predeceased by her parents William and Anne (Peltier) Burnett. She is survived by her husband Lawrence; daughters Connie Baranyai, Andrea Leddy (Peter), Diane Meawasige (Mike), and Eileen Lewis; son Blake (Margaret); grandchildren Christine Baranyai (Brent Withers), Steven Baranyai, Michael Baranyai, Whitney Lewis, Philip Lewis, Jillian Lewis, Lianne Leddy (Mark Humphries), Patricia Leddy (Stan Dibb), Lynsy-Rae Meawasige, and Carly Dell; great grandchildren Andrew Withers, Eathan Baranyai, Xavier Baranyai, Cheyanne Baranyai, and Braeden Dibb; sister Margaret Topping (Norm); and George Baranyai and Mark Dell. Visitation will be held at Serpent River First Nation Community Center from 3pm October 02, 2012 until 10am October 04, 2012. The funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of the Highway Church in Cutler on Thursday, October 04, 2012 at 11am. Interment will be in Cutler cemetery.
