Obituary

LIINAMAA, Mark Arnold - born November 27th, 1962. Died March 7, 2013, 50 years, at Laos. Beloved son of the late Arnold Liinamaa (predeceased 1979) and Betty (nee Gribble) (Liinamaa) Pendleton. Loving stepson of Daniel Pendleton. Loving brother of Susan Armstrong (Drew) of Cayuga, Peter (Kim) of Sudbury, Jim (Monique) of Sudbury, and John (Elaine Kusan) of Sudbury. Loving uncle to Charles, Kiersten, Andrea and Lauren Armstrong of Cayuga, Ryan, Kyle, Nik, and Elizabeth Liinamaa of Sudbury and Joshua Kusan of Sudbury. Mark was a mining engineer at INCO, educated at Laurentian University before moving on to a Masters in Physics, then an MBA from the University of Michigan. He was currently employed at Citi Investment Research in Hong Kong - Co-Head of Regional Metals and Mining, Asia Pacific Equity Research. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Church of the Epiphany Memorial Fund or the Diocese of Moosonee would be appreciated. Memorial Service at the Church of the Epiphany, 85 Larch St., Sudbury, Saturday, March 16th, 2013 at 11 am. Cremation with interment in the family plot at the Park Lawn Cemetery. Friends may gather at the church after 10:45 am Saturday. Arrangements entrusted to the JACKSON AND BARNARD FUNERAL HOME. I was so sad to hear of Marks passing. He and I were good friends and colleagues at MS in New York. Through the long nights at the office, his good spirits, laughter and friendship could always be counted on. I will miss you buddy.
