MAHAFFY, Bruce - In Loving Memory of Bruce Mahaffy 76 Years. Passed away Friday, January 27th, 2012 at Health Sciences North. Beloved husband, soulmate and best friend Sheryl Clyke-Pilotte. Loving father of Dave (Lynn), Brenda Mahaffy (Malcolm Clements), Lisa Marie Perkins (deceased), Philip Mahaffy, Steven Mahaffy (Chanda) and stepchildren Tammy-lynn Wilcox (Rodney) and Renée Taylor (Peter). Dear brother of Diane Davies and predeceased by Shirley Carlton, Joan Fraser, Lois Mahaffy and Carolyn Ravary. Sadly missed by a large extended family. Cherished grandfather of Mark Mahaffy, Harrison Perkins, Isabelle Perkins, Celia Mahaffy, Kalem Mahaffy, Brayden Wilcox, Rodney JR Wilcox, Catherine-rain Wilcox, Dalton, Wilcox, Gryphon Taylor and Hudson Taylor. A longtime Falconbridge resident Bruce had been the Distribution Manager at National Grocers retiring in 1999 with 25 years service. A proud Canadian Bruce was an active member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #336 Falconbridge having served on the Branch executive and volunteered for many Branch events and projects. He enjoyed golfing, crib, travelling, and a good renovation project. Bruce will be remembered for his great sense of humour and positive personality. The light of his life will be cherished by all who knew and loved him. Resting at the JACKSON AND BARNARD FUNERAL HOME 233 Larch St. Sudbury. Funeral Service in the R.J.Barnard Chapel Wednesday, February 1st, 2012 at 11:30 a.m. Cremation at the Parklawn Crematorium. A Memorial Service will be held 7:30 p.m. Tuesday under the auspices of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #336 Falconbridge. Donations to the Heart & Stroke Fund or the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #336 Poppy Fund would be appreciated. (Friends may call 2-5; 7-9 p.m. Tuesday and after 10 a.m. Wednesday).
