MARCOTTE, René Roger - The family announces with sorrow, his death in Sudbury, Friday, January 27, 2012 at the age of 89 years. Son of the late Joseph Rodolph and the late Anna (née Charlebois) Marcotte. Beloved husband of Jeanne d'Arc “Jean“ Marcotte (née Delongchamp) of Sudbury. Loving father of Paul George Marcotte of Sudbury. Predeceased by his brothers and sisters, Yvonne Roberts (late Andy), Blanche Robert (late Valmore), Rollande Delaire (late Gerald Mayer & (Edgar Delaire of Sudbury)), Emilien Marcotte (late Desneignes), Albert (late Aurore), Laurent (late Léonie), Jean-Paul (late Rhéa), Marguerite Sauvé (late Raoul), Jeanne Martel (late Aimé), Yollande Fraser (late Bertrand) and Gabrielle Courville (late Laurent). Also survived by several nieces and nephews. He will be remembered as having been a longtime employee of Weston bakeries. In keeping with René's request, there will be no visitation and no funeral service. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, Sudbury.
