McGILLIS, Jerald (Jerry) - Died suddenly at Health Sciences North, Sudbury on Tuesday July 31, 2012. A lifelong resident of Tehkummah for 71 years. Son of the late Earl & Florance (nee Mc Cullough) McGillis. Jerry will be forever missed by his loving wife of 47 years, Linda (Hall) and daughters Maureen McPhee & Vern Martel Lynn McGillis & Trevor Cress Michelle McGillis- Prior and Ryan Prior. The light of his life was his seven grandchildren; Jim McPhee & Ashley McKay, Kristen McPhee & Jeff Bint, Melissa Maher, Jordan & Nicole Cress, Hailey and Tessa McGillis-Prior and his great grandson Hayden McPhee. Remembered by sisters in law Dianne & Bruce Jewell, Eileen and Grant Williamson and Maureen & Rob McDonald. Jerry will be missed by a very special circle of friends and his shop cat Spike.
