NICHOLSON, Donald Gordon - Age of 64 years Went home to be with Jesus on Thursday August 30, 2012 at home with his wife present. Beloved husband and closest companion for 21 years of Deborah Nicholson. Dear father of Shawn Nicholson and Angela Simpson (Sean) all of Sudbury region. Grandfather of Tony, Nathan, Griffin and Alice. Brother of Barbara Livingstone (Ron) of Trenton, Faye Nicholson of Sudbury. Predeceased by his parents Ralph and Beatrice Nicholson and brothers Fred and Ted (Arlene) Nicholson. Sadly missed by his sister-in-law Shirley Nicholson and many nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins and extended family and friends. Don was a respected member of the Sudbury Regional Police for 30 years. Don moved to Fort Erie in 2004 and has enjoyed being in Niagara with Deborah and their several dogs. BENNER FUNERAL SERVICES, 1105 Benner Ave. Fort Erie, entrusted with arrangements. A service of celebration will be held on Wednesday September 5th at 2 o'clock at Bethel Pentecostal Assembly, 44 Bowden Street, Fort Erie. In memory of Don, donations may be made to Bethel Pentecostal Assembly.

I had the pleasure years ago of meeting Don at the Kingsway Tim Horton's. My father who was sergeant at Sudbury Regional police knew him quite well. He was a joy to know and my sincere condolence's go out to you and yours
