O'CONNELL, Lillian (Shenkaruk) - Peacefully, Friday evening, February 22, 2013 at St. Joseph's Continuing Care Centre, Lillian O'Connell (nee Shenkaruk) in her 77th year: dear wife of the late Jack O'Connell, dear daughter of Dmytro and Jessie Shenkaruk both predeceased; loving mother of David (wife Rosemary) of Espanola and Karen Rocca of Azilda; lovingly remembered by her three grandchildren, Davis, Emily and Carly; cherished sister of Patricia Stupak (Steve) of Ottawa, predeceased by her sister Mildred. In keeping with Lillian's wishes there will be no visitation. Friends may gather at the church after 10:00 a.m. Funeral mass will be held in St. Mary's Ukrainian Catholic Church, 40 Notre Dame Avenue, Wednesday February, 27, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. Rev. Father Petro Bodnar officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations (by cheque only) to the Northern Cancer Foundation will be greatly appreciated. Funeral arrangements entrusted to the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, Sudbury.
