PROULX, Rachel Elizabeth - In Loving Memory Of Rachel Elizabeth Proulx 57 years, Wednesday evening, December 26th, 2012 at Health Sciences North, Sudbury. Beloved wife of Charlie St Germain of Sudbury. Loving mother of Marie-Josée Proulx of Ottawa, Jean-Pierre Roy of Lloydminster, Alberta and Step- children Angèle St. Germain of Sudbury and André St Germain (Tara) of Brooks, Alberta. Predeceased by her parents Joseph and Berthe (née Kingsley) Proulx. Dear sister of Gisèle (husband Remi Desmarais) of Sudbury, Robert Proulx (wife Simone) of Dowling, Madeleine Proulx, Gaston Proulx (wife Denise) and Diane (husband Marcel Desroches) all of Ottawa and Hélène (husband Guy Gascon) of Sudbury. Will be sadly missed by several nieces and nephews, special cousins, favorite cousins and by many many good friends. Rachel was born and raised in Sudbury. A lifetime friend of Charlie's, they married in Sudbury in 1994. She was a self employed business and organizational consultant and was a proud lifetime and devoted member of the Sudbury Business and Professional Women's Club of Sudbury first serving as President, then as Provincial President as well as National President. She was also a past board member of the Sudbury M.S. Society, a past board member of Laurentian Hospital and was the founding president of Collège Boréal. Rachel leaves a rich legacy of love, faith and devotion to the Sudbury community and will be very sadly missed. The family will honour her request of no visitation. Cremation at Park Lawn Crematorium, Sudbury. A Memorial service will be announced at a later date. Donations in memory of Rachel to The M.S. Society of Sudbury would be appreciated. I did not know Rachel personnally but as I woman she inspired me very much. She was a very strong person and her legacy will live on forever. May you rest in peace.
