RIVERS, Kevin - In Loving Memory of Kevin Rivers, 58 years, Sunday, September 2nd, 2012. With sadness the family of Kevin announce his sudden passing at his home. Beloved husband of Wendy Rivers (nee Thompson). Loving and devoted father of Chrystal Prosperi (Paul), Tabitha McFarland (Eric) and Tiffany predeceased. Cherished papa of Clairece and John McFarland, and Julia and Evelyn Prosperi. Dear son of Melvin Rivers predeceased and Grace Rivers (nee Lees) of Sudbury. Dear brother of Lawrence (Shirley) of Sudbury, Darrell (Karen) of Walford, Harold (predeceased), and Sharon Brown (Tom predeceased) of Beaver Lake. Kevin was an incredibly hardworking man, who was forever available to help his family, and was never intimidated to take on great challenges. His strength, love, and integrity will be forever missed. He was a devoted loving partner and life long friend to his wife Wendy of 36 years. Kevin enjoyed his gardens and was often out walking in the early morning to check their progress. Memorial Service in Glad Tidings Church, 1101 Regent St., Sudbury, Thursday, September 6th, 2012 at 2pm. (Friends may gather at the church after 1pm). Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. In lieu of flowers, donations to the War Amps, Heart and Stroke Foundation, or the Deaf Ministry at Glad Tidings Church would be appreciated. I was deeply saddened to hear of Kevin's passing and send my deepest condolences to his family. He was one of my clients at Cambrian Insurance and I absolutely loved dealing with him. He was always in good spirits and will be missed.
sending my condolences to Wendy and your family I only met Kevin a few times my fondest memory was at a family BBQ at Vicky and Pat's home I sat behind you and saw the connection between Wendy and Kevin, an aura of love that surrounded them, Kevin's arm around her Wendy's hand on his leg, they were glowing in each others company and it made my heart happy I'd like to think that Kevin is spiritly holding Wendy close, as she goes through this difficult time.
