SÉGUIN, Elsie (née Roy) - The family announces with sorrow, her death in Sudbury, Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at the age of 77 years. Beloved wife of Gilbert Séguin of Alban. Loving mother of Linda (Rick Weber) of Lively, Pat (Denis Nadon) of Noëlville, Carole (Richard Rancourt) of Ottawa and Allan (Lise) of Alban. Loving grandmother of Laurie, Karen, Jennifer, Kimberly, Stéphane, Céleste and Kyle. Great grandmother of Abbey and Tess. Dear daughter of the late William and the late Phoebe (née Fuller) Roy. Dear step-daughter of Barney Weight of Sudbury. Dear sister of Viny (Roland Mayer), Lorraine (Don Guilbeault), Stella all of Noëlville, Gilbert (Hélène), Alexandre (Gloria) all of Alban, Gérard (Verna) of Britt and Roland (Mary) of Sudbury. Predeceased by her siblings Anna Villeneuve, Gertrude Crumb, Alice Thibeault, Leona Mayer, Aimé Roy and Léo Roy. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, October 20, 2012 at 11 a.m. in Notre Dame de Lourdes Church in Alban, followed by a luncheon. Donations (by cheque only) to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, Sudbury.

Dear Todd, I am so sorry for your loss. I cannot imagine the pain you must be going through. I have good memories of chatting with your mom at the kitchen table while you we're "doing your hair" (les gros curlers). You and your family will be in my prayers. Jo xx
