Obituary

 THERRIEN, Normand - Peacefully passed away in Sudbury, in the loving arms of his family, Thursday, March 18, 2010 at the age of 76 years. Son of the late Stanislas and Léa (née Gour) Therrien. Beloved husband of Marguerite Therrien (née Rochon). Loving father of Donald (Suzan) and Michel (Jacqueline) both of Sudbury, Jocelyne (Yvon) of Gatineau, Qc, Hélène of Montebello, Qc and Daniel (Diane) of St- Charles. Loving grandfather to Sophie (Jonathan), Jenelle, Justin, Benot, Camille, Katérie, Kevin, Jasmine, Joël and great- grandfather to Rylea and Hudson. Norm was born in St-Charles Ontario, September 8, 1933, 3rd child in a family of 9 siblings which included Hector, (Rhéal, predeceased), Jeanine, (René predeceased), Roland, Jeanette, Claudette and Diane. The family expresses its heartfelt gratitude to the Sudbury Regional Hospital (St-Joseph's Health Centre) 2BC surgical staff, Dr. Pierce, Dr. J.P. Champagne and Dr. Ishak for their kind and compassionate care given. Norm will be remembered for having appreciated the great outdoors as well as having been owner & operator of Dunnet Construction for over 35 years. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 boulevard Lasalle, Sudbury, Sunday March 21st, 2010 from 2-5 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 5 p.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel, Sudbury.
