WERRY, Roy Arthur - In Loving Memory of Roy Arthur Werry, 82 years, Sunday, October 14, 2012 at Health Sciences North. Beloved husband of 57 years to Theresa Gertrude (Boon) Werry. Loving father of Debbie (Dennis Serafini), Trudy, Bonnie and predeceased by Karen. Cherished grandfather of Derek (Beth), Michael (Melissa), Alex and great grandchild Lucy. Dear son of Francis and Annie Werry both predeceased. Dear brother of Jean Veale (Beverly predeceased), William “Bill“ (Marlene) and Edward “Ted“ predeceased (Joy). Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Born in Enniskillen, Ontario, Roy served as an electrician with the IBEW for over 50 years. He loved travelling across Canada, getting lost on a back road where he would enjoy the countryside and say “Look at that, how beautiful!“ When going through Montana, he could imagine being a cowboy and riding a horse through those hills. Roy was a great “Mr. Fix-It“, always ready to help others. He was devoted to his family, keeping a close relationship with his nieces and nephews and a special love for his grandchildren. Memorial Service in the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME, 252 Regent St. at Hazel St. Wednesday, October 17th, 2012 at 3pm. Cremation at the Park Lawn Crematorium. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated. (Friends may gather after 2pm Wednesday).
