ZLAHTIC, Anton “Tony“ - In loving memory of Anton “Tony“ Zlahtic, 82 years, Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at Health Sciences North Memorial Site. Beloved husband of Paula (Kocjancic) Zlahtic. Loving father of Mary Ann (husband Patrick Doig), Helen (husband Bernie Beaulieu), Anthony Zlahtic (wife Patricia Macgregor) and David. Cherished grandfather of Christopher, Alexander, Chloe, Zach, Jessica, Lara, Keira and Erin. Dear brother of Rosa Krebs and predeceased by 4 brothers and 1 sister. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Tony will be remembered as a passionate person who was proud of his Slovenian heritage and of Canada. He had an inspired work ethic and devotion to his loving family. The family expresses their deep gratitude to the staff at the Health Sciences North Memorial Site for their exceptional care, compassion and support. Resting at the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME, 252 Regent St., at Hazel St. (Friends may call 2-5; 7-9 p.m. Sunday and parish prayers at 7:30 p.m.). Funeral Mass in St. Patrick's Church, 39 Walford Rd., Sudbury Monday, October 29, 2012 at 10 a.m. Cremation with entombment at the Civic Cemetery.
