The Sudbury Wolves celebrated success in Minnesota on Saturday when three 17-year-old players were drafted by NHL teams at the 2011 NHL Entry Draft.

Josh Leivo and Justin Sefton were selected in the third round of the draft while Frank Corrado was selected in the fifth round.

The Wolves were one of 10 OHL teams to have three or more players drafted by NHL teams.

"The second half of this past season certainly revealed the progress and development of our players and Josh, Justin and Frank deserve all of the credit for their hard work and determination,” Wolves president and general manager Blaine Smith said.

"All three players have become go-to-guys for us at only 17 years of age,” Smith added. “Justin and Frank defend against the other teams top lines while Josh progressed to a first line role as he helped lead our team offensively in the playoffs. Our future is very bright when you consider that these players still have two more years of OHL hockey eligibility."

All three newly-drafted Wolves' players will participate in their respective NHL team development camps beginning next week.
