The Walden Mountain Bike Club Wolfpak Racing team started the 2012 mountain bike racing season over the weekend in spectacular fashion.

The Wolfpak was in Mansfield for the first Ontario Cup XC Series event of the season and posted impressive results with two racers stepping up onto the podium and the rest of the team having very strong races, according to a press release.

Crystal Sabel took first place in the Senior Sport 19-29 Female division, while Jody Waddell took third in the Master Sport 30-34 male division. Angela Keefe moved up to Master Expert 30-39 female from the sport category this year and had a very strong sixth place finish. Paul Guenette also had a great race and took sixth place in the Senior Sport 19-29 male division.

The Wolfpak Racing team will be in action again in Woodnewton, May 13, for the second Ontario Cup Event.
